14-Step Furniture Finishing Process
All KraftMaid wood doors and drawer fronts receive KraftMaid's 14-step furniture finishing process, resulting in one of the finest finishes available in the industry. From the initial hand-sanding to a final finish application, each piece of cabinetry goes through this very unique process in order to ensure that the final cabinets are made to your exact specifications.
Durakraft
KraftMaid's DuraKraft finish is one of the finest wood finishes available. In fact, the custom, oven-baked finish exceeds all specifications required by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) for building kitchen cabinets. A combination of clear resin and ultraviolet screen inhibitors provides a custom finish that extends the original color and clarity while standing up to everyday wear in your home.
Passport Series
Designed for people with physical or height limitations and multi-generational households, our Passport Series has undergone extensive testing by individuals with varying physical abilities and is one of the only cabinetry lines certified by The Institute for Technology Development, earning the right to bear the “user tested” seal.
