Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

It all began with a television producer’s phone call asking KraftMaid to help a deserving family in need of a fresh start. Seasons later, we are proud to remain the exclusive cabinetry provider of ABC’s award-winning program, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Season 3

Episode 18The White Family

On April 11, 2005, on his 19th wedding anniversary, Pastor John White suffered a heart- attack and died. Sadly, he left behind a broken-hearted widow and five children who are now, basically, homeless.

While John was the pastor at Bluestem Baptist Church, his family lived in the church parsonage. But, after his death, his widow and children had to move to make the parsonage available to the new pastor of the church. Currently the Whites are living in two trailers with no heat, carpet, door locks or a working kitchen.

In this episode of ’’Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’’, the design team takes on a mission of their own, when they build a dream home for the pastor’s widow and her children so they can begin anew.

The Whites brand new home is beautifully outfitted with custom KraftMaid cabinetry in many of its rooms. The kitchen, pantry and hallway were designed with a solid raised maple door style with brushed pewter knobs and drawer pulls.

The master bathroom was given a warm, comfortable feeling with KraftMaid’s own cherry wood cabinetry, finished in Kaffe and completed with Aged Bronze knobs. The two remaining bathrooms were styled with Maple cabinet doors in Cashmere and Pewter Glaze finished and Stainless Steel bar pulls.
