Steven MillerSteven Miller is the interior designer who re-imagined the House Beautiful Kitchen of the Year featuring KraftMaid cabinetry. Just a few months ago, this kitchen was an unremarkable combination of beige and light wood. Thanks to Steven’s influence, it’s now a showplace for high-end style. In the video below, Steven shares the inspiration behind the overall design of this contemporary kitchen, which he describes as “elegant and comfortable.”

Steven wanted to take advantage of the natural light emanating from the large windows in the kitchen so he incorporated many reflective surfaces, including cabinet doors with Prism glass and cabinet interiors lined with shimmery mica-flecked paper.
