No wonder it is $42 per quart of stain. On August 3rd I ordered 3 qt of autumn blush stain. One qrt was delivered unharmed, 1 qrt was delivered damaged, 1 qrt was not deliverable by FedEX. I called Kraftmaid, they sent out two more qts of stain. One qrt was delivered damaged but serviceable the other qrt was damaged enroute never to be delivered. I called Kraftmaid again, they sent out another qrt of stain. I finally received an undamaged qrt of stain September 1st.
Really! Can you not put bubble wrap or foam around the containers so they do not break during shipment? It may cost a few more cents, But a waste of product and my valuable time!
When you have to send 6 qrts of stain to get 3 courts that are usable, that is very frustrating when you are working on a project with a deadline.
The stain is a very close match. But I spent 30 minutes stirring the gummy residue from the bottom to incorporate it. I have no idea how long this stain has sat on the shelf!
Shame on you Kraftmaid for allowing this to happen!
We installed a huge house full of cherry cabinets 16 years ago. The quality control and craftsmanship was exceptional! We recently used the same cabinetry for our master bedroom closet. The quality is not like it used to be. Disgusting actually!
I highly recommend that the people that send out your stain do a better job to protect the product!
