Crafted with quality to withstand a lifetime of daily use

This Whisper Touch® Angle Cabinet Hinge Restrictor Clip helps maintain the day-one appearance of your kitchen cabinets by ensuring door hinges don’t open at an angle more than 86 degrees. Easy to install, these cabinet door restrictors can be used to prevent your doors from bumping against cabinets that are at different depths, neighboring kitchen appliances, or oven range hoods that stick out.

  • Cabinet door angle restrictors limit hinge opening angle to 86 degrees (+/- 2 degrees)
  • KraftMaid Whisper Touch restrictor clips cannot be used in cabinets with installed accessories
  • Used for:

PH1516•SC -- Whisper Touch™ Hinges - Full Overlay

PH12C•SC -- Whisper Touch™ Hinges - Half Overlay

PHFM•SC -- Whisper Touch™ Hinges - Face Mount

  • Packaged and sold four per box
  • Note: One clip per door is sufficient; however, one clip per hinge results in less deflection

YouTube gives easy information on how to install. But it wou be better if they were already installed by Kraftmaid prior

    Works Like a Charm!

They were very easy to install BUT it would be very useful for KraftMaid to include a link to a YouTube video that gives very clear instructions. Not sure how long it would have taken me to figure it out just using the provided instructions.

Works as Described. Only wish this was brought to the table by the cabinet designer.

    Amazing fix

Posted by Unknown on 17th Jan 2019

By restricting our cabinet doors from opening too far, these clips have saved our doors and our walls! They are very easy to install. I strongly recommend using removable tape to mark off where the hinges go before removing the doors to make it easer to rehang them.

    Good but

Posted by Unknown on 27th Nov 2018

The restrictions work but I only installed them because the hinges that come on the cabinets swing all the way open even if you only open them 90 degrees. I really dislike that because it causes a bounce on the door which puts a lot of stress on the door cabinet and hinges. I'm definitely not a fan of that .

    Just what we needed!

Posted by Karen R. on 31st Oct 2018

Easy to install. Didn't have to completely remove door, but did have to remove hinge from cabinet frame only to be able to install clips. Limited the swing of doors sufficiently to keep doors/handles from hitting mirrors and opening against adjacent walls. We have full overlay cabinets/doors and the clips also protect the doors from opening against adjacent drawers. One clip per door works, but put clips on both hinges of medicine cabinet doors opening against mirrors.

    Angle Restrictor

Posted by Doug Lightfoot on 18th Oct 2018

My contractor installed these on cabinet doors that would hit a wall, appliance, adjacent door, etc. Not sure if it's the clip or the installation, but angle for restriction varies from door to door

    one clip does the trick

Posted by Happy in Anacortes, WA on 12th Oct 2018

my layout included cabinets that were of different depths and ones that were adjacent to walls so I needed to limit opening to a little less than 90 degrees. The clips are quite small and I used tweezers to insert them. One clip per door fixed the problem.
