Whisper Touch® Angle Restrictor Clip

These clips worked as advertised. They installed easily after trial and error. My rating would've been a 5 if the instructions were improved. The pictures in the instructions were very grainy with no clear verbiage of how the clip should be installed. Only two words - "click" and "click". There could've been a note that said the open hook faces the hinge point and lays over the round assembly inside the hinge. that would've saved a bit of discovery.

My newly installed Kraftmaid cabinet doors were all opening too wide and hitting other cabinets and the dishwasher. I had asked the contractor iwhat adjustment could be made to the hinges and he said he had just heard about restrictor clips. I was able to get my contractor to install them because I didn’t want to remove the cabinet doors myself. He found it unnecessary to remove the doors, installed them and they work great.

My husband and I installed these clips with no problems! The instructions were easy to understand, the installation went quickly, and no clips broke in the process. We were able to use 1 clip in most instances and 2 in others. There was only one cabinet which the restrictor clip did not stop the cabinet from hitting another cabinet - that's why 4 starts and not 5. A few should come with your order to protect your investment. Glad I found them online and your customer service rep knew what I needed. Give them 5 stars!

These clips work great and are easy to install. They solved lots of problems with our cabinet doors hitting walls, etc. My only complaint is that there is no information that they even exist without much research. The door hinge adjustment instructions are two full pages long with no mention of this option. In my opinion thousands of dollars worth of new cabinets should just come with a package of these included.

Our new cabinets were opening too wide and banging on a pendant light and other obstacles in our kitchen. I asked my contractor for options but he didn't know of any fix. So I went online to research the issue and found that restrictor clips would do the job. I wanted to make sure it would work with our Kraftmaid hinges so I made sure I bought them from Kraftmaid. As it turned out I saved money doing so. The upside is these clips are very easy to install once you get the cabinet door down. I just had to make sure I remembered how the door was aligned. Works perfectly!!! Couldn't be more happy with the results. Hint: When you order these, remember that they come 4 to a pack; so 1=4. I needed 16 so I ordered 4.

The restrictors are not effective with narrow doors with handles as the door handle will strike the adjacent door. Works well with 'regular' size doors.

If you need to restrict the hinge swing from 110 degrees to plus or minus 87 degrees, particularly with blind cabinets, these clips will prevent the doors from striking one another.
